These 5 Ads are So Good They Practically Sell Themselves
#3 is my favorite
What makes an ad so good that you can’t help but stop and stare?
Today, we’re looking at 5 ads that grab attention and make people want to take action.
These ads are smart, simple, and impossible to ignore. Number 4 is my favorite and you will find out soon enough.
And by the time you’re done reading, you’ll know exactly why they work, and how you can use these tricks too.
But before we continue, say thanks to the sponsor of today’s newsletter!

#1 - Irresistible offer
What did they say about offers again? Give your audience an offer so good they feel stupid saying no.
This ad does exactly that.
Why does it work?
Risk free guarantee: A month’s worth of free training makes people feel they have nothing to lose. And also, “Free” creates an instant pull because everyone loves valuable things at no cost.
Removes friction: Customers feel safe trying it, knowing they can back out anytime.
Builds trust: Once the trial ends and customers experience the value, signing up becomes a no-brainer.
Creates commitment: Free trials often convert because people feel invested after experiencing the service.
Before you move on to ad 2, quickly check out Upmarket!

#2 - Benefit of Outcome
You wouldn’t have known this is an ad. It shows the viewer what their lives are going to be like after the consultation.
Why does it work?
Future Pacing: This ad future paced their audience. This is like traveling into the future to show your audience how their lives will look like but ONLY after you try this product.
Emotional proof: Breaking glasses after the consultation is a bold, visual statement of life-changing results.
Relatable pain point: Many people hate wearing glasses or lenses; the ad directly addresses this.
Showing the benefit of outcome: It reassures the audience that they can achieve clear vision without any stress, something they deeply desire.
Process transparency: The subtle message is, “We’ve done it for others, and we can do it for you too.”.
Here’s another variation of that ad, same process, same format and it works.
#3 - Negative Angle Hook
This ad is my favorite. It used literally everything they could to make the ad work and did it? We’ll see.
It starts with a negative hook “ Don’t buy the silent basketball before you watch this video.”
And you know what happens when you tell people “don’t” do something? They question it.
Why does it work?
